How to Incubate Quail Eggs?

Collect clean, fresh quail eggs

Store eggs pointed end down

Keep stored eggs at 55–65°F

Set eggs within 7 days if possible

Warm incubator to 99.5°F for forced-air or 102°F for still-air

Maintain humidity at 45–55% during incubation

Place eggs in incubator with pointed end down or on their side

Turn eggs at least 3 times daily

Stop turning on day 14

Increase humidity to 65–70% for hatching

Candle eggs around day 7 and day 14

Remove any infertile or dead eggs

Do not open incubator often during hatch

Expect hatching around day 17 to 18

Leave chicks in incubator until fully dry

Move dry chicks to a brooder at 95°F

Provide water and starter feed in the brooder
