1/2 cup white school glue
1/2 cup water
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon borax
1 cup warm water
Food coloring, optional
Mix the glue and 1/2 cup water in a bowl
Add food coloring, if using
Mix the borax with 1 cup warm water in a separate bowl until dissolved
Pour a small amount of the borax solution into the glue mixture
Stir until slime starts to form
Add more borax solution little by little until the slime reaches the desired texture
Knead the slime with your hands until smooth
Store the slime in an airtight container
