Dab the stained area with the solution using a clean cloth
Let it sit for a few minutes
Rinse the area with cold water
Repeat if needed
For white marks on dark fabric, rub the area lightly with nylon stocking or a clean dry cloth
For stubborn buildup, use a paste of baking soda and water
Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit briefly
Rinse thoroughly
Wash the dress according to the care label
Air dry and check that the stain is gone before using heat
Avoid hot water and machine drying until the stain is fully removed
