Open Instagram and go to the Reel you want to save
Tap the share icon or three-dot menu
Select Save to camera roll if available
If the option is not available, tap Save to add it to your Instagram saved posts
Use a screen recording feature on your phone while playing the Reel
Trim the recording in your Photos or Gallery app
If it is your own Reel, open it from your profile
Tap the three-dot menu on your Reel
Select Download or Save to camera roll if shown
Check your device’s Photos or Gallery app for the saved video
Make sure Instagram has permission to access your photos and storage
Update Instagram if the download option is missing
