Keep indoor air from being too dry
Take breaks from screens and blink often

Use a cold compress for irritation or swelling
Wear sunglasses outdoors to block wind and pollen
Check for and remove any foreign object if visible and easy to rinse out
Wash hands before touching your eyes
Stop using eye makeup or new facial products if they may be irritating your eyes
Treat allergies with an appropriate over-the-counter antihistamine or allergy eye drop if suitable for you
Seek medical care if there is pain, redness, vision changes, discharge, injury, or persistent watering
