Keep bedding, towels, and pillowcases clean
Follow the piercer’s aftercare instructions
Watch for signs of infection such as increasing redness, swelling, pain, pus, or fever
Seek medical help if symptoms worsen or do not improve
Do not change the jewelry until the piercing is fully healed
Use only hypoallergenic jewelry recommended by a professional
Be patient, since nose piercings can take several months to heal
