Measure the wall area
Calculate the number of tiles needed
Gather tiles, adhesive, spacers, grout, level, trowel, cutter, and sponge
Prepare the wall surface
Remove dirt, dust, grease, and loose material
Repair cracks and holes
Mark a level reference line
Dry-lay tiles to plan the layout
Cut tiles as needed
Mix the adhesive
Apply adhesive to a small wall section
Comb the adhesive with a notched trowel
Press tiles into place
Insert spacers between tiles
Check alignment and level regularly
Continue tiling in sections
Allow the adhesive to cure
Remove spacers
Mix and apply grout
Wipe excess grout from tile surfaces
Clean the tiles after grout begins to set
Seal grout if required
Install trim or edge pieces if needed
