Start playing the movie or show on Disney Plus
Open the playback controls
Select the speech bubble or audio and subtitles icon
Choose Off under Subtitles or Captions
Resume playback
On TV devices, press the remote’s options or up button to access subtitles
On mobile devices, tap the screen to show controls, then turn captions off
On web browsers, click the subtitles icon in the player and select Off
If captions stay on, check your device accessibility settings and disable closed captions there
