Wash or sanitize your hands before use if possible
Open the toilet seat cover package
Remove one cover without touching the sitting surface more than necessary
Place the cover flat on the toilet seat with the opening aligned to the front
Press the cover down so it stays in place
Sit carefully on the covered seat
After use, flush the toilet if the cover is flushable
If the cover is not flushable, remove it and dispose of it in a trash bin
