Remove the mechanical key from the key fob
Use the key or a small flat tool to pry open the fob case
Separate the two halves of the key fob
Remove the old battery
Note the battery type and orientation
Insert the new battery in the same orientation
Snap the key fob case back together
Reinsert the mechanical key
Test the key fob buttons
