Sketch the eye shape (almond or rounded rectangle) lightly
Draw the upper eyelid line slightly thicker/darker than the lower lid line
Place the iris inside the eye, centered toward the pupil
Draw the pupil as a small dark circle centered in the iris
Add the iris details with short curved lines or a subtle ring pattern
Indicate highlights in the iris (leave small unshaded areas)
Draw the upper lash line with small angled strokes following the eyelid curve
Draw the lower lashes lightly (short, fewer strokes than the top)
Add the eyelid crease above the eye (if visible) with a soft curved line
Shade the sclera lightly if needed (keep it mostly white/soft)
Shade the upper eyelid area and crease for depth
Add shadows under the upper lid and around the inner corner
Darken the inner corner slightly and refine the tear duct area
Blend shading softly around transitions (use light pressure)
Define the lower lid shadow with a thin gradient, not a hard outline
Adjust proportions: iris size, pupil center, and lash placement
Refine thickness and darkness of lines for the final pass
Clean up stray construction marks with an eraser
Check symmetry and eye alignment, then correct as needed
