Shut down the PC
Unplug the power cable and all peripherals
Move the PC to a clean, dry, well-lit area
Press the power button for a few seconds to discharge residual power
Open the case panel
Wear an anti-static wrist strap or ground yourself
Use compressed air to blow out dust from fans, heatsinks, filters, and vents
Hold fan blades still while cleaning them
Use a soft brush to loosen stubborn dust
Wipe surfaces with a dry microfiber cloth
Clean dust filters and reinstall them
Clean the power supply vents from the outside only
Clean the monitor with a microfiber cloth
Clean the keyboard with compressed air and a soft brush
Clean the mouse with a microfiber cloth
Clean cables and ports gently
Check for loose connections
Reassemble the case
Plug everything back in
Power on the PC and confirm all fans and components are working
Clean the PC regularly to prevent dust buildup
