Open the Facebook app or website and log in to your account
Go to Settings and privacy
Select Settings
Open Accounts Center
Tap or click Personal details
Select Account ownership and control
Choose Deactivation or deletion
Select the Facebook account you want to delete
Choose Delete account
Tap or click Continue
Follow the prompts to confirm deletion
Enter your password if asked
Confirm the permanent deletion request
Download your information first if you want to keep your data
Cancel any active subscriptions or linked services if needed
Do not log in again during the deletion waiting period if you want the deletion to proceed
