2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup beer
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat
Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute
Slowly whisk in milk and beer until smooth
Cook until slightly thickened
Reduce heat to low
Stir in cheddar cheese until melted
Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper
Stir until smooth
Serve warm
