File the shiny top coat lightly with a nail file
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place one soaked cotton ball on each nail
Wrap each fingertip tightly with aluminum foil or use nail clips
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Check one nail and gently lift softened polish with a cuticle pusher or orange stick
Rewrap nails if polish is still hard
Repeat soaking until the polish lifts easily
Buff off any remaining residue gently
Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or hand cream
Do not peel or force the polish off
