Wash your hands
Soak a cotton pad with makeup remover, micellar water, or cleansing oil
Close your eye
Hold the pad over your lashes for a few seconds
Gently wipe downward
Repeat with a fresh pad until mascara is gone
Use a cotton swab for stubborn residue
Rinse your face with lukewarm water
Cleanse your face if needed
Pat the eye area dry
Apply eye cream or moisturizer if desired
