Press the Xbox button to open the guide
Select Profile & system
Select Settings
Select System
Select Console info
Select Reset console
Choose one of the following:
Reset and remove everything
Reset and keep my games & apps
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the reset
If the console will not start, power it off
Unplug the power cord for 30 seconds
Plug it back in
Press and hold the Pair button and Eject button
Press the Xbox button while holding Pair and Eject until you hear two startup tones
Select Reset this Xbox
Choose Reset and remove everything or Reset and keep my games & apps
Confirm the reset to begin factory restore
