Burp the baby during and after feeds
Hold the baby upright for 15 to 30 minutes after feeding
Try gentle tummy massage in a clockwise motion
Move the baby’s legs in a slow bicycle motion
Give supervised tummy time when the baby is awake
Check the bottle nipple flow if bottle-feeding
Feed more slowly and take breaks during feeds
Make sure the baby has a good latch if breastfeeding
Keep the baby calm and avoid overstimulation
Try a warm bath
Use gas drops only if approved by the baby’s doctor
Contact a pediatrician if gas is severe, persistent, or with fever, vomiting, or poor feeding
