Soak feet in warm water for 10–15 minutes
Use a pumice stone or foot file on softened skin
Gently exfoliate 1–2 times per week
Apply a thick moisturizer or foot cream daily
Use products with urea, lactic acid, or salicylic acid
Wear socks after moisturizing to lock in hydration
Avoid cutting or shaving dead skin with sharp tools
Keep feet clean and dry
Wear properly fitting shoes
Treat cracked heels with petroleum jelly or heel balm
See a podiatrist if skin is painful, bleeding, infected, or very thick
