How To Draw A Bird?

Draw a small circle for the bird’s head

Add an oval for the body connected to the head

Sketch a curved line for the neck between head and body

Draw a triangle or tapered shape for the beak on the front of the head

Add two small circles for the eye and a tiny mark for the pupil

Indicate the wing with a curved, leaf-like shape on the side of the body

Add tail feathers with a fan-like set of angled lines at the back of the body

Sketch the legs as two thin lines extending downward

Add feet with small curved shapes at the ends of the legs

Refine the outline to smooth the head, body, wing, and tail shapes

Add feather details with short lines following the wing and tail contours

Thicken the beak and add a slight line to show the mouth opening

Add wing feather segments using curved strokes

Erase construction lines that are no longer needed

Shade the bird with light pencil strokes on the underside and under the wing

Add darker shading under the wing, along the back, and around the tail

Add final highlights to the eye and beak with light or unshaded areas

Outline key edges more firmly and lightly blend shading if desired
