Open Facebook and log in
Go to your profile
Click the three dots or menu on your profile
Select Privacy Checkup or Settings & privacy
Open Settings
Go to Privacy
Set Who can see your future posts to Friends or Only me
Set Who can see your friends list to Only me
Set Who can look you up using your email address to Friends or Only me
Set Who can look you up using your phone number to Friends or Only me
Turn off search engine linking to your profile
Review your profile information and change the audience for each section to Only me or Friends
Limit past posts if needed
Review tag and timeline settings
Save your changes
