How To Install A Kitchen Sink Faucet?

Turn off the water supply valves under the sink

Open the faucet to relieve any remaining pressure

Place a bucket or towel under the sink to catch water

Disconnect the hot and cold supply lines

Remove the old faucet mounting hardware

Lift out the old faucet from the sink

Clean the sink surface around the faucet holes

Install the gasket or putty if required by the new faucet

Insert the new faucet into the mounting holes

Secure the faucet from underneath with the provided hardware

Tighten the mounting nuts evenly

Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the faucet

Tighten all connections with a wrench, avoiding over-tightening

Turn the water supply valves back on slowly

Check for leaks at all connections

Tighten any leaking fittings if needed

Run the faucet for a few minutes to flush the lines

Confirm proper hot and cold water flow

Reinstall any sink accessories or under-sink items removed earlier
