Place roses in a clean vase
Fill the vase with fresh lukewarm water
Add flower food if available
Cut 1 to 2 inches off the stems at a 45-degree angle
Remove any leaves below the waterline
Recut the stems every 2 to 3 days
Change the water every 2 days
Clean the vase each time you change the water
Keep roses away from direct sunlight
Keep roses away from heat sources
Keep roses away from drafts and air vents
Keep roses away from ripening fruit
Remove wilted petals and leaves
Mist the petals lightly if needed
Store roses in a cool place overnight if possible
