Wash the mango
Hold the mango upright on a cutting board
Slice off one side of the mango, avoiding the pit
Slice off the other side of the mango
Cut the remaining flesh from around the pit
Use a knife or peeler to remove the skin from each piece
Or score the flesh in a grid and invert the peel to separate the fruit
Remove any remaining skin with a knife
Discard the peel and pit
