Open Instagram and log in to the account you want to delete
Go to the Delete Your Account page in a web browser
Select a reason for deleting the account
Re-enter your password
Click or tap Delete [username]
Confirm the deletion when prompted
Wait 30 days for permanent deletion to complete
Log in again within 30 days if you want to cancel the deletion
To delete an account you cannot access, use Instagram’s account recovery options first
To remove an account from the Instagram app without deleting it, log out and remove the saved login info
