Compare the Ewatt battery dimensions with the stock battery bay
Check for interference with the lid ribs, foam, wiring, and connectors
Trim or remove any internal lid ribs that contact the battery
Relocate or reroute cables so they do not press against the lid
Add low-profile foam padding only where needed for vibration control
Test-fit the lid without forcing it closed
If the lid still does not close, use a spacer or lid riser
Replace the stock lid gasket if compression prevents closure
Secure the battery so it cannot shift under the lid
Verify full latch engagement after installation
Confirm there is no contact between the battery and moving parts
Ensure the lid can close without bending or stressing the battery
Use only hardware and modifications that maintain safe clearance
Have the fitment checked by a qualified e-bike technician if needed
