Gather materials: paper (printer paper or notebook paper), ruler, scissors (optional), tape (optional)
Fold the paper in half lengthwise to form a crease, then unfold
Fold both top corners down toward the center crease to form a triangle nose
Fold the paper again along the center crease so the triangle is on the outside
Fold the two sides inward so the dart becomes a long, narrow shape
Taper the nose by folding the front tip slightly forward and pressing firmly
Fold the tail back slightly to add stiffness, then press flat
Secure seams with tape if needed (especially along the side folds)
Make fins by folding a small section near the tail outward on both sides
Press all creases firmly so the dart holds its shape
Test-launch and adjust by tightening folds or adding/removing tape/fins
