Collect paper-making materials (wood pulp or recycled paper)
Prepare pulp by soaking paper in water
Blend soaked paper into a slurry
Add water to adjust slurry thickness
Optional: add pulp additives for strength or texture
Set up a tank and frame with a mesh screen
Dip the frame into the slurry and lift evenly
Shake gently to distribute pulp uniformly
Press or blot to remove excess water
Transfer the sheet onto a cloth or felt
Repeat dipping and layering cloth/felt as needed
Press the stacked sheets to further remove water
Dry the sheet (air-dry or use a drying press/heat source)
Remove the sheet from cloth/felt
Trim edges to size
Optional: smooth with a roller or press
Optional: coat or size for improved surface and strength
