Plug in the power adapter if the battery is low
Open the laptop lid
Locate the power button
Press the power button once
Wait for the Dell logo and startup process to begin
If the laptop does not turn on, hold the power button for 10 seconds, then press it again
If it still does not start, connect the charger and try again
