How To Clean My Keurig?

Unplug the Keurig and let it cool

Remove the water reservoir, lid, drip tray, and K-Cup holder

Wash removable parts with warm, soapy water

Rinse and dry all removable parts completely

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth

Clean the needle with a paper clip or Keurig cleaning tool

Reassemble the machine

Fill the reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water

Run brew cycles without a K-Cup until the reservoir is empty

Let the machine sit for 30 minutes

Rinse the reservoir thoroughly

Fill the reservoir with fresh water

Run several brew cycles with plain water until the vinegar smell is gone

Repeat the water rinse if needed

Clean the drip tray and exterior again if necessary

Replace the water filter if your model uses one

Descale every 3 to 6 months or as needed
