Press C
Move the cursor to where you want to paste
Press and hold Ctrl (Windows/Linux) or Command (Mac)
Press V
To cut instead of copy: select the text or item, then press Ctrl+X (Windows/Linux) or Command+X (Mac)
To paste with formatting (if available): use Ctrl+Shift+V (Windows/Linux) or Command+Option+V (Mac)
