How To Get Super Glue Off Your Fingers?

Soak fingers in warm soapy water for 10–20 minutes

Gently rub and roll the bonded skin apart while still soaking

Apply petroleum jelly or cooking oil to the glued area and rub for 1–2 minutes

Repeat soaking in warm soapy water and gently peel or roll residue off

Use an emery board or pumice stone to carefully buff softened glue off the skin

Apply a small amount of acetone-based nail polish remover to a cotton pad and dab the glue (avoid open cuts)

Wait 30–60 seconds, then rub gently; repeat as needed

Wash with soap and water after acetone use

If acetone isn’t available, use a solvent-free product labeled for cyanoacrylate (super glue) removal, following the label

If glue is completely bonded and won’t release, soak longer and keep working gently rather than pulling hard

Seek medical help if skin is stuck together tightly, there’s pain, numbness, severe swelling, or glue covers eyes/mouth/genitals

Do not use forceful pulling, sharp tools, or hot heat (to avoid burns)
