How To Grill Burgers?

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 375–450°F / 190–230°C)

Use 80/20 ground beef for best flavor and juiciness

Form patties gently into even thickness (about 1/2–3/4 inch)

Season patties with salt and pepper just before grilling

Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking

Place patties on the grill and close the lid

Grill without pressing; flip once at about halfway through cooking

Cook to desired doneness:

125–130°F / 52–54°C for rare

135–140°F / 57–60°C for medium-rare

145°F / 63°C for medium

155–160°F / 68–71°C for medium-well

165°F / 74°C for well-done

Remove patties when they reach target internal temperature (they’ll rise slightly)

Rest patties 3–5 minutes before assembling

Toast buns briefly on the grill cut-side down until lightly browned

Assemble with preferred toppings and condiments

Optional: add cheese during the last 1–2 minutes of grilling and close the lid to melt
