Fill out the cheque deposit slip if required
Endorse the cheque on the back if needed
Write your account number on the deposit slip or cheque if required
Visit the bank branch or use an ATM/mobile deposit if available
Insert or hand over the cheque and deposit slip to the bank staff or deposit box
Keep the deposit receipt or confirmation slip
Wait for the cheque to clear and the funds to be credited to your account
