Trace your foot on a sheet of paper while standing
Keep your weight evenly distributed on the foot you’re measuring
Make sure the heel is against a wall or the edge of the paper
Mark the longest point of your toes
Mark the back edge of your heel
Measure the distance between the two marks in centimeters or inches
Measure both feet separately
Use the larger measurement for shoe sizing
Measure foot width by marking the widest part of the foot on the tracing
Measure from the widest outer point to the opposite widest outer point
Measure arch length only if you need it for specific shoe types (optional)
Measure at the end of the day if possible (feet tend to be slightly larger)
Repeat the process if you’re between sizes or buying for a precise fit
Compare your measurements to the brand’s size chart (length and width if available)
