Open Instagram and go to your profile
Tap the menu icon
Select Settings and privacy
Tap Accounts Center
Tap Personal details
Tap Contact info
Select your phone number
Remove the phone number or replace it with another one
Save the changes
Go back to your profile and tap Edit profile
Check the contact options and make sure the phone number is not visible
If needed, switch to a professional account or adjust profile contact settings to remove public contact details
