Open the Life360 app
Tap the Settings icon
Select the Circle you want to manage
Tap Location Sharing
Turn off Location Sharing
Confirm the change if prompted
On iPhone, go to Settings
Tap Privacy & Security
Tap Location Services
Select Life360
Choose Never or While Using the App
On Android, go to Settings
Tap Location
Tap App permissions
Select Life360
Choose Deny or Allow only while using the app
Turn on Airplane Mode to stop live updates temporarily
Turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data to pause location updates
Force close the Life360 app to stop background tracking
Disable Background App Refresh on iPhone
Disable Background data for Life360 on Android
Log out of the Life360 account if needed
