Write the amount in numbers in the box (e.g., 125.00)
Write the amount in words on the line below (e.g., One hundred twenty-five and 00/100)
Draw a line through any unused space after the written amount in words
Sign the check on the signature line (bottom-right)
Add a memo (optional) in the memo line
Ensure the check is filled out in ink and all fields are complete and legible
