Read the care label on the clothing item
Check that the load size is suitable for the washer
Place the Tide Pod directly into the empty washing machine drum
Add clothes on top of the pod
Do not put the pod in the detergent drawer
Use dry hands when handling the pod
Use only one pod for a regular load unless the package says otherwise
Close the washer door or lid
Select the wash cycle and water temperature
Start the washing machine
Keep pods out of reach of children and pets
Store pods in the original container with the lid closed tightly
Do not cut, tear, or open the pod
Do not use pods for hand washing
Do not use pods in a dishwasher
Follow the package instructions for special fabrics or large loads
