How To Bake A Garlic?

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)

Cut the top off a head of garlic to expose the cloves

Place garlic on a sheet of foil or in a small baking dish

Drizzle with olive oil (about 1–2 tbsp per head)

Sprinkle with salt and black pepper (optional)

Wrap tightly in foil

Bake 35–45 minutes, until cloves are soft and golden

Carefully unwrap foil (steam will be hot)

Let cool 5–10 minutes

Squeeze roasted garlic cloves out of the papery skins

Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 5 days
