Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and black pepper
Optional: add minced garlic, red pepper flakes, or lemon zest
Spread broccoli in a single layer
Roast 15 minutes, stirring or flipping once halfway
Check tenderness; roast 5–10 minutes more if needed
Optional: add grated Parmesan or a squeeze of lemon in the last 2–3 minutes
