Rinse the broccoli under cold water
Trim off the tough stem ends
Cut the broccoli into florets
Peel and slice the stem if you want to use it
Boil water in a pot
Add the broccoli and cook for 2 to 4 minutes until tender-crisp
Drain immediately and season as desired
Steam the broccoli for 4 to 5 minutes until bright green and tender
Sauté the broccoli in a pan with oil over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes
Roast the broccoli at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes with oil and seasoning
Microwave the broccoli with a little water for 2 to 4 minutes until tender
Serve hot or let it cool for salads and meal prep
