Press PrtSc (Print Screen) to capture the full screen
Press Alt + PrtSc to capture the active window
Press Windows + PrtSc to save a full-screen screenshot to Pictures > Screenshots
Press Windows + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool and select an area to capture
Use Snipping Tool: Start menu > Snipping Tool > New > choose mode > Save
On some models, use Fn + PrtSc instead of PrtSc
On some models, use Win + Shift + S with Fn if the shortcut doesn’t work
