Open Steam and sign in

Add the game to your cart
Choose Purchase as a gift
Select a friend from your Steam friends list
Enter a gift message if desired
Choose when to send the gift
Complete the payment
The recipient will receive the gift in Steam or by email, depending on the delivery option
