How To Play 5 Crowns?

Deal 10 cards to each player in the first round

Place the remaining cards face down as the draw pile

Turn the top card of the draw pile face up to start the discard pile

On your turn, draw one card from either the draw pile or the discard pile

Try to make books or runs

Books are sets of the same rank

Runs are consecutive cards of the same suit

Use wild cards to help complete books or runs

In 5 Crowns, the wild card changes each round based on the round number

After drawing, discard one card face up onto the discard pile

You may lay down your completed melds when you are ready

When you lay down, keep any remaining cards in your hand as deadwood
