Press PrtScn to copy the full screen to the clipboard
Press Alt + PrtScn to copy the active window to the clipboard
Press Windows key + PrtScn to save a full-screen screenshot to Pictures > Screenshots
Press Windows key + Shift + S to open Snipping Tool and select part of the screen
Open Snipping Tool from the Start menu to take a screenshot
Use the Snip & Sketch shortcut Windows key + Shift + S on supported versions
Press Fn + PrtScn if your keyboard requires the Fn key
Paste the clipboard screenshot into Paint, Word, or another app with Ctrl + V
