Open the app that needs camera access
Go to Apple menu
Select System Settings
Click Privacy & Security
Click Camera
Turn on camera access for the app
If prompted, allow the app to use the camera
Open the app again if needed
Check that no other app is using the camera
Restart the Mac if the camera still does not work
