Unplug the Dyson and remove it from the charger
Empty the bin
Remove the bin and wash it with cold water if the model allows
Clean the cyclone assembly with a dry cloth or soft brush
Remove and wash the filter with cold water
Let the filter dry completely for at least 24 hours
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth
Remove hair and debris from the brush bar
Clean the brush bar and end caps
Check and clear the wand, hose, and attachments for blockages
Reassemble all parts once completely dry
Replace the filter when needed
