Clean the analog stick base with compressed air
Power off the controller before cleaning
Use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol around the stick
Rotate the stick while cleaning to remove debris
Remove and reconnect the controller battery
Re-sync the controller to the Xbox One
Update the controller firmware in Xbox settings
Replace worn thumbstick modules
Replace the analog stick potentiometers
Check for damage to the controller shell or stick housing
Test the controller in another game or console
Reset the Xbox One controller settings
Use a different controller if the drift continues
Contact Xbox support for repair or replacement
