Thread one lace end through the bottom eyelets from the outside in
Make both lace ends even
Cross the laces over each other
Feed each lace end through the next eyelet up on the opposite side
Repeat the crisscross pattern to the top
Pull the laces snug as you go
Adjust the tension so both sides look even
Tie the laces at the top with a standard bow
Tuck or leave the lace loops as desired
